What’s your go-to setup of loader, dozer, and haul truck for maintaining smooth and efficient operations in open-pit mining?

I typically use a mid-sized loader, a tough dozer, and a 30-ton haul truck. This combination helps keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.

for me, it's always large trucks, shovels (both electric rope and hydraulic), draglines, and dozers. all efficient and helpful

it's all about tonnage per hour and fuel efficiency. for me, the ideal setup has the loader bucket capacity perfectly sized to fill the haul truck bed in exactly 4 passes
if it's more than that, the loader is too small. and if less, the loader is too large. Match your dozers (D10 class) to the overburden removal rate, keeping them strictly focused on pushing/ripping
