I worked FIFO in mining and learned it's real work...not a lifestyle trend. Long swings, broken sleep, heavy gear, and real safety consequences made it serious. Folks who treat it like an adventure burn out fast. Are you prepared for that kind of commitment?

Working FIFO in mining is definitely intense, its long shifts, irregular sleep, heavy equipment and constant safety risks. Treating it like a casual adventure quickly leads to burnout , so it really takes commitment and mental resilience to handle the lifestyle. Are you ready for that level of intensity?

It sounds like we're on the same page. How did you personally manage the mental and physical demands during those long swings to avoid burnout and stay sharp on safety?

i would not leave my family for any amount. never considered it and never will. no amount of money worth it to miss out on family, if your single
though, that would be a yes if money yes right
