Supply chain disruptions in mining equipment

it’s been rough. We’ve had drills and loaders sitting for weeks waiting on one hydraulic valve or filter. Lately we’ve been buying extra wear parts in bulk and keeping them onsite, even if it ties up some cash. It’s better than losing a whole week waiting for a truck that never shows.

I can relate, I’ve also been gathering essential parts and relying more on suppliers in the area. It’s definitely a balancing act, but it’s managed to keep us from experiencing significant downtime.

We're now checking part numbers across brands to speed up finding replacements. Plus, we're fixing up old parts when new ones are hard to get.
