Picture your perfect getaway

So, when you think about your dream vacation, are you picturing a cabin in the mountains or a cute spot by the ocean? What makes a place feel like 'your' kind of place?

I’d definitely choose a cabin in the mountains. There’s something about those calm mornings and the crisp, fresh air that just feels perfect.

 

[RICOCHETAZ]

In the late fall high desert mountains of southeastern Az. The days are cool the nights crisp. Your near an old gold mine from the 1800’s. There high grade pile has not been pilfered. The springs and little creeks are running. You can look out to other far off mountains and you have not heard nor seen another soul for days other than your beautiful wife who is sleeping near you.
You try not to have the sizzling crackling sound of the frying bacon wake her.
But the smell you have no control over, non at all.

What a perfect image, tranquility, solitude, and the mouthwatering scent of bacon completing the experience. It honestly seems like one of those rare occasions when everything slows down, allowing you to fully embrace the moment.
