Came across this little miners rhyme and I really liked it so it stuck with me. I've told it to a few of the guys already. Here it goes:

Twas a man who worked all overtime
In the mine workings, deep down he'd climb
Yet work is not what he did
And he mostly just hid
For lack of assignment is not a crime

What'd you guys think, just wanted to share some light humor

That rhyme's a gem, I'll say it's fine,
Fits half the crew I knew in the mine.
Pick in hand but nothing struck,
Just digging ways to press their luck!
