I have absolutely 0 knowledge of the industry in terms of getting started and stuff like that, so I could use some guidance. Do companies hire people with experience or beginners like me can apply? I don't mind douing the dirty work and start from the bottom.

ofc the companies hire beginners, especially if you show enthusiasm and a willingness to do the less glamorous work. don't sweat having zero knowledge, that just means you're a blank slate ready to learn!
