Figuring out if planning or winging it works best

I’ve been juggling between detailed planning and winging it, depending on how wild the year gets. Lately, I’m feeling a bit uncertain about which approach really suits me. I’m interested in hearing how everyone else deals with this do you like to map things out, or do you just go with the flow as life comes at you?

Yeah, I get that. Sometimes I'm super organized with lists and stuff, but other times I'm just trying to survive. Lately, I've been trying to have a basic plan so I don't feel completely clueless.

I used to plan everything, but life always messed it up, so it felt like a waste of time. Now I just write down a few important things and let everything else happen as it does. It helps me stay focused but not trapped.

I've gone from being super organized to totally chaotic, and neither one really worked for me. Now I do a bit of both. I plan the big things so I know where I'm going, but I let the little things happen naturally. It gives me some structure without being too rigid.
