Bucket tooth inspection tips

I’ve had my fair share of close calls with worn-out bucket teeth, so I’ve made it a point to check them regularly.
What’s your favorite way to inspect them?
Do you have any tips for catching damage early, or do you just take a quick look and hope for the best?

After a few near misses, I’ve made regular checks a priority. I shine a flashlight to look for cracks or wear and feel for any loose pins. A simple tap on the teeth lets me know if they're moving

Won’t trust any of them unless I’ve tapped each tooth with a wrench to check for any wobble. You can usually spot cracks pretty quickly, but loose teeth can sneak up on you. So, don’t skip that thorough inspection.

Now, I inspect bucket teeth like it's second nature just a quick visual check and a tap with a hammer to see if they're loose. If something sounds off, I replace them before they become a real problem
