As you gear up for a major dig, your bucket is right in front of you, and those teeth have seen better days. What’s your quick checklist for spotting wear, cracks, or loose pins before they turn into a bigger problem? Let’s hear your tips and tricks to keep the crew in the loop!

I make it a habit to check the bucket teeth before starting any job keeping an eye out for cracks, worn edges, and any looseness. I also give the pins a little wiggle. If something doesn’t seem right, I’ll switch them out before we begin digging!

I'm all about doing a quick visual check looking at the teeth for any signs of wear or cracks, and giving those pins a wiggle. A tiny crack can lead to a big problem if you overlook it. Those quick inspections help me avoid bigger issues down the line

Before any major digging, I always take a good look at the bucket teeth.
I check for any chips, cracks, and see if there’s any play in the pins.
If I notice too much wear, it’s definitely better to replace them now than risk a busted tooth while we're working.
