You’re in the middle of lifting, scooping, or tipping, and suddenly, the loader feels like it’s stuck in slow motion. That frustrating lag on Workmaster or Utility series tractors doesn’t have to be a given.

What tips, tweaks, or hydraulic tricks have you discovered to get things moving faster and keep the action smooth?

The loader on my Utility series was moving super slow this morning. A quick look showed the hydraulic fluid was low, and switching to a thinner oil fixed it right up, now it works as it should.

Last season, I had the same problem with my loader being slow. What really helped was cleaning the relief valves and bleeding the lines the right way. After that, scooping and dumping felt quick, not like watching paint dry.

My Workmaster used to be slow lifting things. I tried greasing all the spots that pivot and checking the hoses. It helped a lot! It was like the loader just woke up.
