How to calibrate payload systems on haul trucks after suspension or tire changes?

If you've just done that, you might find that the payload system is way off, either reading too high or too low by tons. What’s your strategy for recalibrating it to ensure you get accurate weight readings again, all without needing the dealer's laptop and waiting for a technician for three days?

I can relate. I usually grab some familiar weights, check what the system shows,
and then adjust it manually until it doesn’t feel like I’m playing a guessing game.

For the smaller items, I just triple-check with a bathroom scale and tweak the payload calibration until everything matches up.
It takes about ten minutes, and I don’t need any fancy equipment or a special laptop.

In short, set a known weight, note the error, apply the correction, and repeat. It feels a bit like hacking, but it gets the job done every single time.

Honestly, I skip all the high-tech stuff. I just load on something whose weight I know,
input the numbers into the system, and adjust until it stops fooling me.
