Gold Miners with a competitive edge?

From an investment standpoint, I'm digging into which gold mining companies actually hold a real competitive advantage, whether it's through lower production costs, solid reserves, better jurisdictional exposure, or strong management. There's a ton out there, but few seem to stand out long term. what do you guys think, who's got the edge right now?

Newmont got strong reserves and low cost production plus they have greater global reach. Then Barrick Gold? I'm really a fan of their management and their acquisition strategies. Kinross Gold got good assets. So when it comes to edge, I don't really know who's at the lead.

Not all mining companies are alike. Agree that Newmont is pretty solid with their reserves and low costs and that is also true with Agnico Eagle. Barrick also has some great top-tier assets. Are you more into the big players, the mid-sized ones, or are you looking at some riskier options?
