You’ve likely had those days underground when the equipment choice really stood out. Maybe you’ve worked with diesel machines and had to handle the fumes, or you’ve given electric gear a try and noticed the quieter ride and cleaner air. Everyone has their own experiences from the jobs they’ve been on.

What’s your experience with electric versus diesel equipment underground?

Ran diesel machines underground for years and the fumes and noise were terrible. When I tried electric, the cleaner air made my shift so much easier.

When I hauled gear underground, diesel machines were trusty but exhausting because of the fumes. Switching to electric gave me quieter rides and cleaner air, which made those super long shifts much easier.

I spent so much time underground with diesel machines. They were tough and dependable, but the fumes really wore you down. I finally tried electric, and the difference was clear. It was quieter, cleaner, and I wasn’t as tired
