This holiday season, I realized I always underestimate how long quick errands take once everyone's out shopping. A couple of last-minute trips turned into total madness. Next year, I'm making a solid checklist and sticking to it, instead of just making it up as I go.

This year was the first time I spread out tasks over a few weeks instead of trying to do it all in one weekend, and it really made things easier. The only thing I forgot to do was prep meals ahead of time, so I will be sure to add that to my plans next time.

Looking back on things, I'm happy I got almost all my vacation plans set early this year. The only thing that didn't go so well was trying to squeeze in one extra get-together. Next time, I'm going to keep my schedule pretty chill so I can really enjoy my time off.
