Accutane Side Effects While Doing FIFO

I got a question for the FIFO crew here (especially those working on dusty sites). So, I finally started Accutane last month after years of battling acne.

Now I'm dealing with the rough side effects, like peeling face, super dry eyes, and sensitive skin, it’s starting to be really bad.
Has anyone done a rotation on this stuff while working in that harsh, dry environment?
Any must have creams, eye drop tips or anything to survive the purge period out here? Much appreciated!

For happy eyes and skin, try preservative-free lubricating eye drops like hyaluronic acid ones, plus barrier creams with ceramides, and always use SPF 50+ mineral sunscreen. Skip alcohol-based stuff, and maybe get a humidifier for your bedroom.

Also try a mild, non-foaming cleanser and a silk or bamboo pillowcase to cut down on friction and irritation while you sleep. Plus, keep hydrated with drinks that have electrolytes, not just water, especially when it's dry out.

I second applying SPF 50+ daily, no exceptions as well as a heavy, plain moisturizer.
For your eyes, get preservative-free artificial tears in mini vials and use them often so you can stay ahead of the dryness.
Wear good wrap-around safety glasses to seal out the dust!
But if the dryness is severe, see a medic for a night-time eye ointment script.
And yes, most crucial is to stay hydrated! Make sure to drink water consistently throughout your shift.

That's solid advice. Using SPF, staying hydrated, and protecting your eyes can really have a big impact when you're out there
