I'm starting underground soon (3:1), I am quite ready for the grind. I've heard it's tough to stay in shape; bad camp food, long shifts, but can you bring your own meals? Any routines, tips, or supplement strategies that actually work?

Don't go overboard and keep your meals balanced. Hitting the gym after a long day can be a struggle, but keep in mind that you're already staying active throughout the day

You absolutely can bring your own food, and I'd highly recommend it!
I know a few guys who prep healthy meals and snacks for their shifts to avoid relying solely on camp food.
Look for easy recipes that are nutrient-dense and easy-to-pack.
For routines, bodyweight exercises or resistance bands are my best friends!
Even 20-30 minutes, 3x or 4x a week, will do you good!
It could sound a lot so the biggest tip I can really share is consistency!
Even when you don't feel like it, just do something.
