software wishlist for a metallurgist

Looking for input from the mineral processing community, specifically those working in Milling, Classification, and Froth Flotation.
We all know the daily pain of wrestling with huge Excel sheets for routine checks.
So, for a metallurgist day to day business, what simple, dedicated software would you love to see developed?

Something that is purpose built to replace one of those common, repetitive Excel tasks.
Are there any daily data validation or reconciliation tasks you perform that could be simplified by a specialized app instead of an Excel macro? Let us know what you wish existed!

A mobile “field check” app: take sensor / grab sample values, it syncs, runs sanity checks, suggests adjustments, pushes to your plant control. So you don’t have to lug Excel on your laptop in dusty zones.

hi @BanditSydonia thanks for the idea. The biggest headache with the field check Excel sheet is manually entering the numbers later. If that app could just run the sanity check, and then automatically drop a clean, validated data point right into the main server... that would save hours of reconciliation every week
