I was prepping the plant for a busy shift and noticed the belt wandering a bit.
What’s your go-to fast method for checking alignment without taking the whole thing apart?
Let’s share some tricks and hacks.

Belt alignment can be tricky, but I’ve found that using a carpenter’s square along the pulley edges helps a ton. It’s a quick method to check for issues without the need to disassemble everything

I dealt with that problem once now I just use a straightedge to check the pulley grooves. If there's any misalignment, I make the adjustment right away. That way, I spend less time on repairs and more time getting into the job!

When the belt starts wandering, I like to mark the pulley positions and turn it by hand. This way, I can easily spot any misalignment without having to take everything apart. It’s a simple fix that saves time.

I've been in that situation! A quick laser alignment tool works wonders. If you don’t have one handy, a piece of string and a level will do the trick it's a good visual guide and saves you from a full teardown
