You’re underground, the air is thick, the sounds are intense, and the heat can be overwhelming. What gear or tricks have you found effective in managing noise, vibration, and heat when you’re in those cramped conditions? Share your real-life solutions with us!

Working in a deep mine was tough the vibrations were harsh and the heat was extreme. I started using anti-vibe gloves, cooling towels, and compact ear protection. To my surprise, taking short breaks every hour really helped me stay focused, way more than any fancy gadget could.

Last year, I spent a whole week crawling through a cramped tunnel my ears were ringing and my gloves were completely soaked. I finally switched to some good earmuffs, anti-vibe gloves, and lightweight moisture-wicking layers. You know, it’s the little things like having a decent fan that really make a difference, more than just high-end gear

My first time underground felt like I was a human jackhammer. I quickly learned to double up on earplugs, wear cushioned gloves, and use a cooling bandana. Even just having a foam seat pad made a big difference for my back during those long shifts in tight spots.
