We’ve all experienced those shifts when a rig seems to be working flawlessly right up until it doesn’t.
I know the feeling of chasing strange noises and small leaks before they lead to downtime.

What simple checks or routines do you use to keep your drill rigs safe, dependable, and hassle-free underground?

I take a quick stroll around, tuning in for any unusual sounds and checking hoses for dampness. Being five minutes early can save you hours of trouble later on down below.

I’m with you, those little details really count.
I keep an eye on the pressures, feel for any vibrations, and make sure my rig stays clean.
If something seems off, it probably is. Trust your instincts and check it out quickly.

Before each shift, I look for leaks, loose bolts, and hot spots, and I listen to the engine while it idles.
Catching those minor issues early helps keep the rig running smoothly
